International Potluck Day - Christmas Holiday Edition

Here is a fun way for your children to get involved in a Social Studies project that covers Geography and Diverse Cultures. Please select a country and bring a dish that is popular from that country. It would be helpful to attach a recipe copy to the dish you're bringing so that those with food allergies know which foods they can enjoy. Also, if you enjoy the dish, you can take a screenshot of that recipe.

Since we're having this potluck close to the holidays, consider making a dish that your chosen country usually has during the Christmas holiday season. This is optional, of course.

If you wish to make it more educational and share more information about your chosen country, have your children make a posterboard or tri-fold presentation that contains the capital of that country, traditional customs, economies, natural wonders, and/or natural resources, for examples.
