International Potluck Day

We had such a great time last year doing this international show-and tell, so let's do it again! Here is a fun way for your children to get involved in a Social Studies project that covers Geography and Diverse Cultures. Please select a country and bring a dish that is popular from that country. It would be helpful to attach a recipe copy to the dish you're bringing so that those with food allergies know which foods they can enjoy. Also, if you enjoy the dish, you can take a screenshot of that recipe.

If you wish to make it more educational and share more information about your chosen country, have your children make a posterboard or tri-fold presentation that contains the capital of that country, traditional customs, economies, natural wonders, and/or natural resources, for examples.
